Hadiza Kabir Sworn in as Mandate Secretary, Social Development Secretariat FCT

Hajiya Hadiza Mohammed Kabir, has been sworn in as the Mandate Secretary, Social Development Secretariat, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The inauguration which held on Tuesday, at the FDA Board Room, Abuja, was supervised by the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello, and the Minister of State, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu.

Speaking, the FCT Minister, urged the newly inaugurated Mandate Secretaries, heads of agencies and departments to key into urban renewal agenda of the administration.

He called on the secretaries to get acquainted with basic public service rules and government procurement guidelines as well as embrace the values of teamwork and effective horizontal communication and cooperation.

In her remark, the Mandate Secretary, Social Development Secretariat, Hajiya Kabir expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for approving her appointment based on the recommendation of the FCT Minister of State, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu.

After the inauguration, the Mandate Secretary, Social Development Secretariat, proceeded to meet the Disabled Colony in Karamajiji.

Hajiya Hadiza, said the Karamajiji Disabled Colony is a part of the Honourable Minister of State’s top priorities and she sends her regards.

She advised them against street/alms begging and urged them to stand up and help themselves by doing something meaningful like trading and other vocations.

Hajiya Hadiza said the FCT Social Development Secretariat would ensure that they get the necessary critical support required.

She called for prayers for her and Dr Ramatu, stating that no leader would like to fail. She also asked asked for their continued support.

Hajiya Hadiza Kabir was appointed by as FCT’s Mandate Secretary, Social Development Secretariat, by President Muhammadu Buhari on 22nd November, 2021.

She had served at various capacities, including as Senior Legislative Aide on Gender to the President of the Nigerian Senate.
