COVID-19: Tinubu Youth Summit Postponed

The annual Bola Tinubu Youth Summit (BTYS) has been postponed till further notice, due to the pandemic Coronavirus and the Lagos State government ban on gatherings of more than 50 person.

The national youth event aimed at celebrating the leadership ideology of the former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to teach, enlighten young people on quality leadership, good governance and national development.

BTYS Convener Saheed Akanbi said the event, scheduled for April 4, has been postponed till further notice.

He said: “As youths, our health is very important not to us alone but to help care for the old ones and national development. We apologise for any inconveniences and implore Nigerians to be vigilant, adhere to safety precautions and rules of the government guiding COVID’19 to help fight the spread of the disease.”

      It would still hold. After this pandemic dies down.
